  The Federal Emergency Management Agency is studying the Hezbollah model of distributing aid in response to guerrilla organization’s swift disbursement of cash to southern Lebanon residents whose homes were damaged by Israeli bombs.
- FEMA involved in mental health recovery
  The Federal Emergency Management Agency has earmarked its second-largest grant ever to help finance mental health counseling for people it has helped drive out of their minds – and continues do so – as a result of Hurricane Katrina and the levee breaks that flooded New Orleans.
- Landrieu’s just aching for a baby
  The national publicity Louisiana Congressman Bobby Jindal received for his emergency delivery of his and his wife’s baby in their home this month apparently has spurred at least one fellow potential opponent in the 2007 governor race to begin searching for a pregnant woman to birth, too.
